VIZIO Recall

In case you had not seen or heard, Vizio has recently released a voluntary recall of some of their TVs.

Vizio has announced the "Recall to repair" of their 39 and 42-inch E-Series Flat Panel TVs due to the possibility of tip over accidents.

It has been suggested that consumers stop using the product unless otherwise instructed.

The problem is that the assembly stand on these two models can fail, causing the flat screen to tip over. Vizio has received 50+ reports of such.

The TVs were sold through outlets such as Best Buy, Meijer, Target, Walmart and other retail stores nationwide , online at Amazon.com, Costco.com, Meijer.com, Sams.com and other internet retailers.

Consumers have been instructed to detach the stand and store the TV in a safe place until they contact Vizio and receive a replacement stand.  Even if you have mounted your TV on a wall, it is suggested you still get the replacement stand.
